Ayodele Murphy Yoga Instructor
Ayodele Murphy

Yoga Instructor

Yogic practice has opened me up to the possibilities of genius, self-realization, and self-mastery as exemplified by the ultimate unity of everything. I believe that yoga should be prescribed to all – as we can use it to overcome the challenges that living in a'modern’ world presents as well as the obstacles that our minds create. My journey as a yogini was foretold... and officially began in my (birth) hometown of Atlanta, GA. I have been practicing consistently since the early 2000s; teaching since 2010; and haven’t looked back since. Beginning with a Hatha Raja practice, then moving to 26 & 2 Hot Yoga, I have successfully completed several teacher training and apprentice programs in multiple yoga techniques. I continue to practice and participate in opportunities to augment my skills as a teacher, student, and most importantly, as a human. I see yoga and asana as tools designed, amongst other things, to teach us how to breathe properly, so the more you manage your breath, the more you manage your postures and your movements—on and off the mat. I am beyond grateful to have this discipline and technology as a part of my life, as it shall be forever. I am privileged and honored to share it with you. Ayodele has 14 years of teaching experience. She is trained in many styles, including Original Hot 26 & 2 yoga, e84 intermediate and 84 advanced series through the Ghosh lineage, has completed 4x Jedi fight club trainings with Esak Garcia, Tony Sanchez Core 26+, Egyptian yoga, Vinyasa, and has completed a dhamma Patapa Vipassana mediation, to name a few. She is dedicated to further education and training in yoga.

Sanela Hart Yoga & Pilates Instructor Yoga Alliance ERYT - 500 Hour Certified, OHYA - Level 3
Sanela Hart

Yoga & Pilates Instructor

Originally from Australia, my physical discipline began young as a gymnast, which progressed into a circus career as an Acrobat and Trapeze Artist. Initially Yoga was a complimentary practice to my career, but an adverse childhood took its toll on my body and life. Through a collection of traumas, including a heart attack, PTSD, & neck injury to name a few, yoga provided a lifeline for me to put myself back together and resume living the life I'm grateful to still be living. I have been lucky to witness what an effective tool yoga is for healing, growth and freedom, & after 23 years of practice, I’m still in awe of how it has changed my life and that of so many others. As a teacher I love helping people come into cooperation with their own body and the world, so that they can live a life they love, no matter what they have been through. Credentials: Sanela is Yoga alliance E-RYT 500 certified. Level 3 OHYA certified. She holds a bachelor of Circus arts at NICA. Trained in Bikram yoga, yoga synergy (Simon Borg Olivier.) Trauma sensitive yoga, children’s yoga, yin yoga, Anatomy & Physiology of yoga, HIIT Pilates, animal flow, Level 1 Ayurvedic therapist and a Vipassana meditator.

Daphne took her first class July 2019, she fell in love and started showing up on her mat nearly everyday. She added Inferno Hot Pilates to her certifications in 2023, it is a beautiful compliment with the 26 & 2 series. Daphne respects the tradition and discipline of the 26&2 practice. Her class focuses on creating a supportive and empowering environment, encouraging students to explore their limits with compassion for their bodies.

Laura Heard Yoga Instructor
Laura Heard

Yoga Instructor

I first discovered hot yoga in a tiny, stinky HOT studio in San Francisco in 1996 and vowed to never go back. But I did again and again because I was struck by how the practice focused and grounded every aspect of my life. Through the many, many moves my family has experienced, the one reliable comforting constant for me has been this practice. My favorite posture is Rabbit.

Joyce Boozer Yoga Instructor
Joyce Boozer

Yoga Instructor

As a Native Georgia Peach, Joyce started her hot yoga journey at 26 & 2, in Atlanta on Cheshire Bridge Rd., over 20 years ago. The inspiration behind her exercise was guided by yoga leaders such as Bikram, Emmy, and Rajshree. Joyce recalls her affinity for being in the hot room, whether it was enjoying the asanas or the fact that no one could tell if the drops of water running down her face were made of sweat or tears. The beauty of practicing the various forms of 26 & 2 yoga has brought up and out many emotions, and the method has captured Joyce's love for being on the mat. Becoming a teacher in training was an immense experience that brought its own challenges, introduced more ways to listen, and provided numerous opportunities to implement patience. Joyce shares that the physical, mental, and emotional rejuvenation benefits of her practice have done wonders for her life as she begins her teaching journey at the glorious age of 61.

Yoga Instructor

I found yoga in January of 2017 as I was looking for a way to maintain energy throughout the day. At that time, I couldn't even finish 20-minute YouTube Vinyasa flows. In October 2019, I discovered the 26 & 2 style. My first class was a 90-minute class and I was drawn back by the challenge it presented as well as how better I felt afterwards. Fast forward to 2022, and I found myself in 26 & 2 training. I graduated in January of 2023 and haven't looked back since. It's truly something I've fallen in love with. I've even ventured out to be trained in Yin and Vinyasa in 2024. I'm also a math teacher at an elementary school, where I teach yoga to the kids for our after-school program. See you in the hot room!

She has been teaching full-time ever since! In 2013, yoga took Rachel to Richmond, VA, where she co-owned a 26&2 studio for 6 and a half years. While running her studio, Rachel was introduced to Inferno Hot Pilates. She thought it was the most fun she’d ever had while working out, and she decided to bring it to her yoga community in Richmond. She now teaches both 26 & 2 classes and Inferno Hot Pilates classes in ATL! Rachel's classes are consistently challenging, energizing, and FUN. She can't wait to meet you on the mat.

Takeya McDonald

Yoga Instructor

In 2015, I began my career as a therapist, and I struggled with anxiety. I knew I had to do something which led me to buying a new student 30-day special. While my first class was challenging, it left me feeling relief that I had never felt before. I am passionate about helping people address experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be holding them back from becoming the best version of themselves. I believe Hot Yoga can help anyone and this yoga has allowed me to confront myself through balancing movement and stillness.

Our Space / Your Space

Welcome to ISO Yoga Atlanta. We’re excited to provide a space here in Atlanta to facilitate your health goals.

We hope you feel at home while also experiencing world-class, custom-built systems to enhance your experience and results. This space is for all of us to share as we practice our way into better lives alongside each other. We hope you enjoy our facilities.

HEATING SYSTEM ISO Yoga has a dual heating system. A traditional forced air system plus a state-of-the-art infrared heating system. Our humidifier is fitted into our HVAC system, providing you with even heat and plenty of ventilation. SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF INFRA-RED HEATING Infrared heat penetrates deep into the body, reaching muscles, joints, and tissues. This deep penetration helps to enhance flexibility and mobility by loosening tight muscles and promoting greater range of motion during yoga poses. Far infrared heats the body, not the air. This helps with air quality and breathing. Helpful for those with respiratory difficulties. Far infrared is more energy efficient, which makes it better for the environment. It assists in fat burning, detoxification, increased blood flow, and supports organs of elimination. SKIN! Yes, far infrared has a positive effect on our skin due to the increase of blood flow and is known to stimulate collagen production, offering anti-aging possibilities. HVAC You may hear a fan-like sound in the room; this is our HVAC system. It filters the air for you, ensuring the release of carbon dioxide while circulating fresh air for more comfortable breathing. This aids in perspiration. FORM A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HEAT The heat is set to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and 40 percent humidity. Depending on the season, the amount of people in the room, and a whole heap of variables, there will always be slight differences that affect the heat. Some classes will be hotter, some will be slightly cooler. Let it be! Let your body learn to adjust in all heat situations. Use the variables to your advantage and build skills in all situations. Your body is already designed to adapt to the external environment and regulate your temperature. Use the heat as a tool instead of a dependency. Maintaining a healthy relationship with the heat allows for the focus to remain on the yoga. Speak to our instructors to know more about this. BATHROOMS We have full bathrooms complete with toilets, showers, ADA accessibility, towels, hand towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer. WATER FILTER We have a water filter at the studio to fill and refill your water bottles. Bring a bottle! If you forget, we sell water and a selection of cold drinks in the fridge.
